బాలీవుడ్ సినీ పరిశ్రమలో విషాదం నెలకొంది. బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ (54) మృతి చెందారు. గతకొద్దికాలంగా ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ తీవ్ర అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. గత కొన్నేళ్లుగా ఆయన క్యాన్సర్ వ్యాధితో పోరాటం చేశారు. కొన్ని నెలల క్రితం కోలుకున్నారు. అయితే మరోసారి తీవ్ర అనారోగ్యానికి గురయ్యారు. దీనితో ముంబైలోని కోకిలాబెన్ ధీరూభాయ్ అంబానీ ఆసుపత్రిలో చేర్పించారు. అయితే చికిత్స పొందుతున్న ఆయన పరిస్థితి విషయం చెందటంతో ఈ రోజు మరణించారు. ఈ విషయాన్ని ఆసుపత్రి అధికారికంగా ప్రకటన చేసింది. ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ మృత దేహాన్ని ఆసుపత్రి సిబ్బంది ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు అప్పజెప్పారు.

కాగా, నాలుగు రోజుల క్రితమే ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ తల్లి సయీద బేగం (95) మృతి చెందిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. రాజస్థాన్లోని జైపూర్లో ఆమె అంత్యక్రియలు జరగగా ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ వెళ్లలేకపోయారు. లాక్డౌన్ అమల్లో ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారానే తల్లి అంత్యక్రియలను చూశారు. ఈ సంఘటన ఇర్ఫాన్ ను మరీ కృంగదీసిందని.. దీనితో మరింత మనస్థాపానికి గురయ్యారని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు తెలుపుతున్నారు. సుకాపా సిక్డర్ భార్య కాగా బాబిల్ మరియు అయాన్ అనే ఇద్దరు కుమారులు కలరు.
కాగా ఇర్ఫాన్ ఖాన్ 1988లో సలాం బాంబే చిత్రంతో నటుడిగా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చాడు. ఆ తర్వాత తన విభిన్నమైన నటనతో ఎన్నో మంచి సినిమాల్లో నటించారు. స్లమ్డాగ్ మిలియనీర్, మఖ్బూల్, లంచ్బాక్స్ సినిమాలు ఆయన కెరీర్లో మరిచిపోలేని సినిమాలుగా నిలిచాయి. బాలీవుడ్ తో పాటు ఆయన అనేక హాలీవుడ్ చిత్రాలలో నటించారు. ఇర్ఫాన్ 2011లో పద్మశ్రీ పురస్కారం అందుకున్నారు.
