ఎస్పీ బాలు మరణంతో భారతీయ సినీ సంగీతం తమ ముద్దు బిడ్డను కోల్పోయింది. ఇన్నేళ్ల సినీ చరిత్రలో ఘంటసాల తర్వాత అంతటి స్థాయిలో ఎవరైనా గాయకుడు ఉన్నాడంటే అది కేవలం ఒక్క బాలు మాత్రమే. కరోనాతో దాదాపు 50 రోజుల పాటు ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందిన బాలు ఈ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నాం 1.04ని.లకు కన్నుమూసారు. ఇక రేపు సాయంత్రం బాలు అంత్యక్రియలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. చెన్నై తిరువళ్లూరు జిల్లాలో రెడ్ హిల్స్ సమీపంలో ఉన్న తామరైపాకంలో బాలు అంత్యక్రియలు జరగనున్నాయి. ఇక బాలు మృతితో సినీ పరిశ్రమ శోకసంద్రంలో మునిగింది. సినీ, రాజకీయ ప్రముఖులతో పాటు అభిమానులు బాలు మృతికి సంతాపం తెలుపుతున్నారు.
